TMS System
A dedicated transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) testing space is also available at the Brain and Mind Core Facility. There are several other testing areas (e.g. Kinematics and Robot Arm rooms) that are also TMS-capable. Researchers using TMS methods can investigate interconnected neural activity by stimulating a local region of the brain in a non-invasive way, and by measuring how this interferes with a specific task. TMS systems are capable of single- and dual-pulse, rTMS, and theta-burst.
