Robot Arm Rooms

The Brain and Mind Core Facility in WIRB houses several single- and dual-arm reaching robots that can be utilized in sensory, motor and cognitive research. These systems can help investigate the coordination of multi-joint movements (e.g. reaching to external target locations) using a single arm, or both arms simultaneously. The systems are also capable of manipulating visual feedback or perturbing the motor movement during movement execution and can be used in combination with TMS, fNIRS, etc.
