Letter of Understanding - Indigenous Faculty Members
The joint working group established to review Indigenous Faculty Members recommended revisions to the Collective Agreement which are reflected in the language of the Indigenous Faculty Members Letter of Understanding. The Union and Administration entered into the Letter of Understanding on August 11, 2020.
The 2018-2022 Faculty Collective Agreement will be amended effective September 30, 2020 as per Appendix A.
Units with one or more Indigenous Scholars are required to review their APE procedures and criteria for the current APE cycle within three months (before November 11, 2020) to ensure compliance of the additonal language in Clauses 5.1 and 5.2.
