Hydro-Québec provides in-situ data primarily for northern Québec, focusing on areas south of the 55th parallel. This coverage aligns with Hydro-Québec's main area of interest, where its hydroelectric installations are located. Most stations are fully equipped to measure weather parameters like temperature, humidity, wind, and precipitation. In addition, Hydro-Québec operates a snow data network and hydro stations in the same regions, which monitor flow rates, water levels, and water temperatures. While weather, snow, and hydro stations are not always located close to each other, weather and snow sites are sometimes situated nearby. Gaps in the datasets and downtime are common, as northern sites are prone to extended maintenance delays. At this time, only raw datasets are available, and the Hydro-Québec makes no guarantees of their accuracy.
Details on the meteorological variables captured, along with the range, accuracy, and resolution of the instruments can be found below. Three dashes (---) are used to indicate unknown range, accuracy, or resolution.

Air Temperature |
(---) | (---) | (---) |
Notes: Temperature data are collected hourly at Hydro-Québec meteorological stations. |
|||
Precipitation |
(---) | (---) | (---) |
Notes: Data on precipitation are collected hourly at Hydro-Québec meteorological stations. Data on accumulated precipitation and precipitation type are collected at Hydro-Québec meteorological stations every 15 minutes. |
|||
Relative Humidity |
(---) | (---) | (---) |
Notes: Data on instantaneous relative humidity are collected hourly at meteorological stations. |

River Discharge |
(---) | (---) | (---) |
Notes: River discharge is calculated based on water levels measured upstream and downstream of a river. |

Snowpack |
(---) | (---) | (---) |
Notes: The gamma monitoring (GMON) sensor continuously collects data on snowpack and water equivalent. Snowpack data are collected hourly at meteorological stations. |

Water Equivalent (of Snowpack) |
(---) | (---) | (---) |
Notes: Water equivalent data are collected at meteorological stations every six hours. |
