Will I get paid during my internship?

Arts and Humanities internships can be paid or unpaid, and this varies by internship partner agreement. Details will be given in the job posting.

Can I accept a position and still search for other internship opportunities?

If you accept a full-time internship, you will not be able to search for other opportunities in 深夜福利站 Connect, but if you accept a part-time internship, you can continue to look for other part-time opportunities.

Note: Once you have accepted an internship, whether full-time or part-time, you must honor the acceptance of the offer since it is a contractual agreement between the Employer and the student. Students who renege on an internship agreement will not be allowed to continue in the internship program.

Will I have to relocate?

Students can undertake internships almost anywhere, but the opportunities posted in 深夜福利站 Connect and offered by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities’s partner organizations are mainly concentrated in London and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Once accepted into the internship program, students gain access to all available internship postings for the Arts & Humanities Internship Program and can make decisions about which opportunities to apply to based on the internship’s location.

Will I receive academic credit?

Yes, internships posted through 深夜福利站 Connect are eligible for academic credit (Arts & Humanities 3000A/B/Y, a 0.5 academic credit). Please consult with your Academic Counselling office if you have questions about how this credit will fit into your program-specific degree requirements.

How many hours do I have to work in my internship to get the 0.5 academic credit?

In the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, a minimum of 120 work hours are required for a 0.5 academic credit.
