Diversity in Health Graduate Bursary
Value of Award: A minimum of 2 @ $1,250
Eligibility: Full-time FHS graduate students
Deadline to Apply: Annually on December 1st
Awarded to graduate students in the Advanced Health Care Practice Program, Master of Nursing Program, Masters of Kinesiology (MKin) Program, Master of Science in Foods and Nutrition (MScFN) Practicum-based Program, School of Communication Sciences and Disorders, School of Physical Therapy, or School of Occupational Therapy based on financial need. Preference will be given to candidates who self-identify as belonging to an equity deserving group. A committee in the Faculty of Health Sciences will select the recipients. At least one representative of the committee will hold membership in the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Northwater Capital Management Award in Aging
Value of Award: 2 @ $2100
Eligibility: Full-time FHS graduate students
Deadline to Apply: Annually on December 1st
Awarded to students enrolled full-time in a graduate program in the Faculty of Health Sciences. Students must be registered to attend or have been asked to present at a national or international conference or meeting on the basis of acceptance of a submitted abstract or require graduate research support. Financial need must be evident. The selection committee will be comprised of the Dean and Associate Dean (Graduate and Postdoctoral Programs) of the Faculty of Health Sciences as well as a member of the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Successful candidates must meet OSOFT eligibility requirements. This award was established by a generous donation from Northwater Capital Management.
