Mediating Hamlet

Hamlet is one of the greatest dramatic achievements in the English language and a play that is rarely out of the international theatrical repertory. Premised on revenge and preoccupied with friendship, family and betrayal, Hamlet has been performed and adapted for over four hundred years. This seminar will give students the opportunity to do a deep dive into this tragedy, its criticism, and its stage and film legacy.
