Based on the real-life case of Ruth Snyder, who murdered her husband with the help of her lover, corset-salesman Henry Judd Gray, Machinal is an innovative, expressionist play that explores the oppression of women in the early twentieth century.

Auditions and Crew Sign-Up
Online auditions and crew sign-ups will be held via Zoom April 9-11 from 2-5 PM. Please prepare a short monologue from a modern play. No need to memorize. To book a time slot for an audition, or to sign up for production crew, contact the director/instructor, Dr. Jo Devereux: jdevereu@uwo.ca.
About
Running since 2007, draws students from all faculties to perform, produce and even compose as a team. No prerequisites.
In this course, students participating in the Drama Production explore in theory and practice approaches to text in performance. Only students working as an actor, stage manager, assistant stage manager, or on lighting, sound, props, costumes, or publicity crew, may enroll. View Fall 2024 Syllabus
