Prof. No毛l leads a large research group working on corrosion issues related to the safe, permanent disposal of used nuclear fuel in a deep geologic repository. This Distinguished Research Professorship will allow him to focus on the recent $5M NRCan "SAFE-T" project that will help ensure the safe management of the new type of nuclear fuel that will power small modular reactors (SMRs) and to work on some upcoming research opportunities.
