Professional Programs
The use of the word “professional” to describe master’s degrees is certainly not new. In fact, degrees leading to careers in industry and government have been a feature of North American graduate education for decades. 深夜福利站 Science is home to four professional programs, each leveraging technical skills developed during undergraduate science degrees and expanding portfolios to include management, communications and leadership skills valued across the private and public sectors. Each professional program in the Faculty of Science offers a work term component. Details for students and prospective employers for each individual program are available on their respective program pages.
Master of Data Analytics
is designed to produce professionals ready to pursue an analytics-focused career within the public and private sectors. The MDA program takes students from a range of backgrounds and provides them with the technical skill-sets required in the field of data analytics as well as the opportunity to gain practical experience by applying those skills in an organizational setting.
Students in this program have the ability to customize their learning experience through the selection of a specialty field. The program culminates with an internship where students will get practical, hands-on experience using the analytics skills in a workplace environment.
