Feminist Philosophy Research Group

深夜福利站 Philosophy has a longstanding international reputation in feminist philosophy. One way in which we are active in this area is through our Feminist Philosophy Research Group. For the 2020-21 academic year, the research group is sponsoring a reading group on trust and social bonds. (See the schedule here.) For the 2019-20 academic year, the group sponsored a reading group on feminist philosophical reflections about popular movements (e.g., #MeToo, Black Lives Matter), a talk by Meena Krishnamurthy (Queen’s), and a workshop that was part of the Southwestern Ontario Feminist Philosophy Workshop series.

Kant Research Group

The Kant Research Group is a community of scholars based at the University of 深夜福利站 Ontario (in London ON, Canada) with primary research interests in the philosophy of Immanuel Kant (1724-1804). The UWO KRG considers all aspects of Kant's philosophy, and issues pertaining to the historical context and reception of Kant's thought is an area of particular interest. In addition to holding regular meetings in which members present their latest research, the UWO KRG supports local conferences and workshops on Kantian topics. It also maintains an archive of digitized texts from the 18th century.
