New mesonet available from the Metro Vancouver Regional District
We're pleased to announce that new surface weather station data is now available from the Metro Vancouver Regional District (BC-MVRD), who operates and maintains a network of 28 automatic weather stations in the metro Vancouver area. This data is made available through data exchange arrangements between MSC’s Collaborative Monitoring initiative and the Metro Vancouver Regional District.
This new network greatly increases our monitoring capabilities in an area that is increasingly at risk for flash flooding. You can view this new data source on the !
