Supporting Practice and Research in Outcome Testing Lab

Welcome to the SPROUT Lab!

Our team is interested in how assessment and outcome data are used and understood within the health system to make decisions. We aim to design, implement, and evaluate new outcome measurement approaches to ensure data are used ethically and impactfully.

Researchers in our team come from diverse backgrounds, including Speech-Language Pathology, Maternal-Newborn Health, and Implementation Science. Our research partners and engages with those who use, and are impacted by, scientific knowledge to ensure the relevance of our work and achieve real world impact.

The lab is led by Dr. Olivia Daub, an assistant professor in the School of Communication Sciences & Disorders. Trainees in the lab include graduate students in the Health & Rehabilitation Sciences program and undergraduate students, often in the Faculty of Health Sciences. Trainees in the lab have the opportunity to conduct both basic scientific research and research to support health services.

If you're interested in joining our lab, or partnering in research projects, please contact Dr. Daub at: odaub@uwo.ca
