Every year the HRS Graduate Student Society organizes a research conference for HRS graduate students. The purpose of the conference is to give students the opportunity to practice their presentation skills at any stage of research. We are currently accepting abstracts for our 2025 conference. Please see the “Abstract Submission Guidelines” page
This year's conference presentations will be held in-person in Elborn College. Our theme is “Confronting The Health Status Quo.” “Health,” and what it means to be “healthy,” has been subject to noteworthy controversy. As the central concept in “Health and Rehabilitation Sciences," our work as graduate students contributes to the constant defining and redefining of what it means to be healthy. This question spans ethics, measurement, rehabilitation professions (PT, OT, SLP. etc.), education, and more. This year’s Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Graduate Student Society Conference aims to highlight the research that is contributing to (re)defining and confronting the status quo in health.
The conference will be held on February 12th, 2025. This conference is free to attend, and you are welcome to attend as much or as little of the conference as you'd like.
