Understanding Open Education

In this session, we introduce the concept of Open Education, focusing on Open Educational Resources (OERs). We will discuss the philosophy behind Open Education and the benefits of OER-enabled education, but most of the session will focus on the practicalities of how to create, curate, and integrate OERs into our course designs.
